DMCA Policy
FilmTV respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), we will respond promptly to claims of copyright infringement.
Our Policy
It is important to understand that FilmTV operates similarly to a web browser or search engine regarding digital content. FilmTV does not host, upload, or store any copyrighted video files on our own servers. The application merely provides an interface that indexes publicly available links on the internet provided by third parties.
Submitting a Takedown Request
If you are a copyright owner or an agent thereof, and you believe that any content linked within the FilmTV directory infringes upon your copyrights, you may submit a takedown notification by contacting us. To be effective, the notification must include:
- A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Information reasonably sufficient to permit FilmTV to locate the material (i.e., exact URLs or pathways within the app).
- Contact information for the complaining party.
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
Please send all DMCA requests regarding the index via our Contact page. We will remove offending entries from the app's database within 48 to 72 hours of receiving a valid request.
